Holiday Inn Express - Wigan, an IHG Hotel

Breakfast was great. They have good options for hot food. If you don’t eat pork ask for the vegan sausages. Unfortunately I didn’t see the sign so I didn’t have the vegan sausages. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I will definitely stay there again.

We always ask for a specific room as its ground floor and not far to walk for my wife who has a spine condition. Also has plenty of room to work. breakfast plenty of choice for an Express and they seve great coffee. Evening meals have certainly got better also. Breakfast staff in particular very friendly and helpful and always have a smile.

The staff were superb. Everyone was cheery and helpful. The accessible room is one of the few hotel rooms I’ve been to which has actually been designed with thought - perhaps they had help from a wheelchair user?! Other hotels could learn from this.

This was our first experience with Holiday Inn and we intend to book again. The room was very comfortable. I enjoyed my evening meal. We also enjoyed our breakfast.

We've now stayed at this hotel several times, when attending evening rugby league games at the Brick Stadium, and we've always found it very clean and comfortable. There's a decent breakfast with lots of choice, the staff are friendly and helpful and the bar's a pleasant place to sit after the game.
